Gel polish sets under an LED light and needs to be removed professionally or with acetone. Nail polish air dries and can be removed with nail polish remover.

Gel polish is the product. Shellac is one of the brands of gel polish.

You need to be caring for your nails and looking after them properly. Apply and remove gel polish professionally or by carefully following guidelines if you are doing it yourself. Remove nail polish with a good quality non acetone remover. Also wash your hands and nails after with warm soapy water. Pat dry and apply cuticle oil daily.

Ideally have it removed by a reputable nail technician. However if you choose to do it yourself then soak off gel polish with acetone soaked cotton and silver foil individually wrapped over each fingernail, which means less damage to the natural nail and less exposure to chemicals. Gently file off between each wrap session until nails are bare.

Clawlicious toxin free polishes do not have the toxins found in most nail polishes. Toxins can seep into our skin, into our mouths when we use our fingers to eat, and into the mouths and bloodstream of our children when we feed them, when they have their little nails painted, and even into the system of our babies if they put our fingers in their mouth.

Clawlicious polishes are free of the ten toxins found in most polishes.

  • Formaldehyde
  • Formaldehyde Resin
  • Dibutyl phthalate (DBP)
  • Toluene
  • Camphor
  • Xylene
  • Parabens
  • Fragrances
  • Phthalates
  • Animal ingredients

We do not engage in or support products being tested on animals.

Our products contain no animal products in the ingredients and are not tested on animals.

Yes as it is toxin free.

Remove it gently with a non acetone nail polish soaked into a cotton wool ball. Remove down the nail, away from cuticles. Gently wash hands in warm soapy water, rinse clean, pat dry and apply our organic cuticle oil.

Our cuticle oil nourishes the cuticles, feeds the new nail as it grows from under the cuticle, repairs damaged nails, and soothes the skin.

We always advise to patch test first. Our glitter glue is plant based so should not be reactive on the skin.
